What we provided:
Project planning, data analysis and development support for two corporate initiatives: extract migration from a sun-setting data Oracle warehouse to a MS-SQL environment and stand-up of a greatly enhanced Fraud and Abuse system.
To support the extract migration initiative, we generated a plan to migrate 89 extracts and designed and developed an SSIS extract framework that would enable standardization of extract documentation and automated extract processing. We generated data mapping documentation, in many cases requiring reverse-engineering of the existing extract code, and developed the extracts using the extract framework and SSIS. For the Fraud and Abuse initiative, we provided planning, data analysis, data migration mapping and SSIS development to generate 25 extracts and over 100 reference files for the STARS solution. We were the liaison between three internal departments and the 3rd party vendor to guarantee a smooth process and ensure the data integrity was maintained within and across extracts.
What the client said:
“Think is my go-to company when I need to build a team of business Intelligence specialists to support high-risk projects with high-impact deliverables and senior executive visibility. They provided the perfect combination of technical expertise, bare knuckled project management, and business analyst capability to get our very large, multi-year health care compliance and business Intelligence project off the ground and running solidly. Using sound and thorough business analysis and aggressive risk management techniques, they have kept the project moving forward consistently while keeping risk in check. Their competence in the SQL stack and SSIS is solid and their technical creativity is the best that I’ve seen in the industry.”
